[PREREQUISITE] Create a U.S. Amazon account if you don't yet have one

As an Alexa built-in device, the Reason ONE smart alarm clock must link to an Amazon account to function properly. If you don't have an Amazon account, you will need to create one, which will allow you to access Amazon's voice assistant -- Alexa. Because at this moment, the Alexa voice service for our device is limited to the U.S. only, you'll need to create a U.S. Amazon account.

Your Amazon account comes with Alexa -- the AI voice assistant provided by Amazon. There are settings specific to Alexa voice commands. You can go through and change one or more of these settings by visiting https://alexa.amazon.com in a web browser or download the Amazon Alexa app to your smartphone. The latter option is what we'd recommend. The Amazon Alexa app can be found in the App Store on an iOS device or Google Play on an Android device.
