If you feel the clock's volume is too low or high, you can adjust it in a couple different ways. The clock has two types of volume controls: one for the media (Alexa voice, music, etc.) and the other for alarms and timers. Each volume setting runs from 1 (silent) to 10 (loudest).
One way to adjust the volume is through the Reason Home app:
- Open the Reason Home app on your phone or tablet. In the Home screen, tap the card or tile with the image of a Reason ONE clock on it.
- On the next screen with the top line showing the device name, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the upper-right corner.
- On the next screen ("Settings"), scroll down to the bottom and you should see the two types of volume: Media and Alarm. Adjust either by moving the bar along the line. The left side is volume 1, the right side is volume 10.
Another way to adjust the volume is through voice commands. For example, you can say: "Alexa, what is the media volume level?" You can adjust the volume level by saying: "Alexa, set media volume to 5 (or any other number between 1-10)." For alarm volume, you can replace "media" with "alarm" in the instructions above.
A quick voice command while listening to music is to say: "Alexa, volume up" or "Alexa, volume down" which will adjust the volume slightly higher or lower.
